Visiting Boise
There are many great things to do in and around Boise. After all, we are located in the Treasure Valley! From great restaurants and microbrew pubs, to scenic hiking and wildlife exposure, below are just a few of the great things to do here.

Birds of Prey Center
The Peregrine Fund World Center for Birds of Prey is a short drive south of the Boise State Campus. They offer educational visits and opportunities to get involved in conservation efforts.
Idaho Humane Society
The Idaho Humane Society adoption center boasts state of the art ventilation in the dog dorms, catios for feline enrichment, and a focus on Fear Free training and shelter certification.
Dog Island @ Ann Morrison Park
Boise prides itself on being extremely dog friendly. Dog Island at Ann Morrison Park is the proof!
Freak Alley

The Boise River Greenbelt
The Boise River Greenbelt is 25-miles of treelined biking and walking path. From ducklings to muskrats, Egrets to Cooper's Hawks, you never know what wildlife you will encounter on your travels.
"Basque Block" Cultural Center
The Basque Cultural Center is the focus of the Boise "Basque Block" and hosts annual events like the San Inazio Basque Festival.
MK Nature Center
The MK Nature Center is tucked just off the Greenbelt approximately a mile from the Boise State campus. Home to a wide array of wildlife during all seasons.
