Will there be a hotel room block?​

Yes, two downtown Boise hotels are offering a group block for our conference attendees. Please see below for more information about the two options.

**Please note: ISAZ has contracted rooms at the specified hotel in order to give our attendees the best option for their stay. By booking these rooms you will be supporting not only ISAZ 2022 but future meetings as well. Choosing to book rooms at hotels other than those contracted may jeopardize ISAZ’s ability to secure room blocks at future conferences due to the financial obligations.
Will I need to have transportation from the hotel to the conference venue?​

The best way to get around downtown Boise is by foot, as it is an extremely walkable city. Additionally, the contracted hotels are all within a 15-20 minute walk from all conference event locations. If walking is not an option for you, or you would prefer an alternative mode of transportation, read this Boise Travel Guide for additional suggestions.
Are there discounted lodging options for students?​

Yes, there will be a specified amount of on-campus dorm lodging available for students at a significantly reduced rate. These rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please stay tuned for additional information on how to secure student lodging.
Will travel grants be offered?​

Please check the ISAZ website for information regarding travel award options as they become available.
What are the Visa requirements to enter the U.S.?​
​
Please visit travel.state.gov for information about the specific Visa requirements for international travelers visiting the US.
What else is required to enter the U.S.?​
​
To learn about the travel requirements for entering the US whether you are non-US citizen or not, please visit the CDC’s International Travel Page. As travel requirements continue to evolve, please make sure you are in tune with what is required of you leading up to the conference.
What if there are international travel bans that prevent me from attending a conference in the US?​
​
If international travel bans prohibit the in-person participation of a large number of international attendees, we will provide on-demand opportunities for presenters and participants. Additionally, some aspects of the in-person conference will be available for remote participation.
